A Blind Tasting of Top Right-Bank Bordeaux vs. PMV Merlot and Cabernet Franc

The most expensive and most renowned merlot and cabernet franc blends in the world come from the Right-Bank Bordeaux appellations of Pomerol and Saint Emilion. Steve Pride will raid his personal cellar so that we can contrast top-rated examples from some of the best chateaux of Pomerol and Saint Emilion against merlot and cabernet franc from our own vineyards. Four flights will be tasted blind across four vintages, from the 1990s to 2016, with fun and interactive group discussions to follow each flight. This is a great chance to experience why merlot and cabernet franc are such beloved grape varieties the world over. A casual lunch will follow with more great wine from the Pride family cellar.
