This enchanting evening begins on the Summit Terrace with hearty hors d’oeuvres of French inspiration and a range of wines, including library wines selected by Steve Pride. At 7:15 PM, we’ll take our seats for the concert which is an introduction of Parisian jazz featuring the music of Django Reinhardt, French chansons and more. Duo Gadjo is a professional quartet of stand-up bass, violin, two guitars and vocals. The band will also share their insights on the musical styles of the time and welcome your questions. With the sun setting over the vines, the sky glowing gold and pink and the velvety notes floating in the breeze, this should be a spellbinding experience.
